Dr. Shirsh Lata Soni is an early-career researcher dedicated to the field of solar physics. Her research interests entail conducting fundamental scientific research in solar physics and space weather using observations and modeling, as well as contributing to the planning and designing of heliophysics missions. She is dedicated to mentorship and outreach, guiding high school and undergraduate students in space science education through NASA-sponsored programs.

Solar physics (Switchbacks, Solar wind generation and heating; Parker Solar Probe), Space weather (Coronal Mass Ejections, Solar Radio Bursts; Heliophysics System Observatory and Ground Based Radio Observatories), 

Earth magnetosphere (Solar wind-magnetosphere interaction, magnetosphere-ionosphere coupling; TRACERS)
